We have gone to Dentistry for Kids since my son was a baby, and our experience has always been positive. Today was his first day going back all by himself, and every single person was so warm and made him feel so safe so he didn’t even hesitate! He had so much fun at the dentist (definitely goes against the usual stigma haha) and loved feeling like a champ for having no cavities. The dental assistant and dentist were both so nice and helpful, like not just saying that – actually above and beyond! They even took a picture! Love that my son loves going to the dentist! I wish I could go here as an adult 😂
Help Your Child Start Strong With Great Oral Health
Many parents think baby teeth do not matter much because they will come out later. But these first teeth do very important work in your child’s mouth. They save the right spaces for adult teeth that will grow in later. When baby teeth stay healthy and in the right places, grown-up teeth can come in straight and strong.
Bringing your child to see a pediatric dentist early gives them the best chance for good oral health their whole life. We tell parents to bring their child when the first tooth shows up, or by their first birthday at the latest.
During your child’s first visit, we work hard to make everyone feel calm and comfortable. Our team will look at your child’s mouth very gently and count how many teeth have grown in. We might do a light cleaning if your child feels ready for it. The most important part of the visit is teaching you easy ways to care for your child’s teeth when you are at home.
We will also talk about foods and habits that can change how teeth grow. Some things children do, like sucking their thumb for too long or using a pacifier when they are older, can make teeth grow in crooked. We help you know what to look for and when you might need to help your child stop these habits.
When you make your child’s oral health important from the start, you teach them skills they will use their whole life. The good habits they learn when they are small become easy and natural as they get older.
As your child grows up, we offer many services to keep their mouth healthy:
- Preventive Care – Regular cleanings and checkups that catch small problems early, plus fluoride treatments and sealants that stop cavities before they begin.
- Restorative Care – We give fillings, treatments for sore teeth, and small crowns made just for children when fixes are needed.
- Emergency Care – Same day visits when your child has tooth pain or gets hurt, so you do not have to worry.
Our team has worked with children of all ages for many years, and we love helping patients with special needs. We know how to make visits peaceful and even fun. We also have a membership plan that makes dental care easier to afford for families.
